At Sunshine at Happy Hearts Learning Center, we believe that art is an essential part of a child's education. Our program provides children ages 2 through 5 with opportunities to explore their creativity through various forms of art, including painting, drawing, and sculpting. Our teachers encourage children to express themselves through their art and use it as a tool for learning.
The Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards 2023
Our curriculum is guided by the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards 2023. These standards articulate shared expectations for what young children should know and be able to do. Blue Room

Toddlers
Our 2-year-old program is designed to introduce children to a structured learning environment while still providing opportunities for play and exploration. Our experienced teachers provide a nurturing and safe environment for your child to learn and grow.
Green Room
Our 3-year-old program builds on the skills and knowledge gained in our 2-year-old program. We focus on developing social skills, language, and cognitive abilities through a play-based curriculum. Our teachers provide a caring and supportive environment for your child to thrive.
Yellow Room
Our three year old program is designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where your child can learn and grow. Our experienced teachers use play-based activities to help your child develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Our teachers are caring and supportive with your child and family.
Red Room
Our 4-year-old program prepares children for kindergarten by focusing on language and literacy, math, science, and social studies. Our curriculum is designed to foster independence, self-esteem, and a love of learning. Our experienced teachers provide a challenging and engaging learning environment for your child.
Blue Room
Our 5-year-old program is designed for children who are not yet ready for kindergarten or who need an extra year of preparation. We focus on building academic and social skills, with an emphasis on reading, writing, and math. Our teachers provide a supportive and nurturing environment for your child to learn and grow.
